The Future of Human Health Depends on Vaccination

As I begin my work on Phase 3 of my project, I have been doing a lot more with the study of bacteria, zooplankton, and observing how they bind with microplastics, increasing the particle’s density. In studying how these bacteria bind to different types of dyes/stains versus plastics, I’ve learned a lot about pathogens in general. This season has been a particularly nasty one for pathogens, as many of my classmates have already gotten the flu this season. Those of us who have the flu shot tend to have it a lot better than those of us who haven’t, but by large, vaccines play a larger role for society and I personally feel that they’re very important for all of us. Here’s an argumentative essay I wrote about why increasing vaccination rates is so important for us all.
